Straight back onto it, and shortlisting for the next product purchase. Whilst I couldn’t buy anything online for £4, it was pleasing to see that there were more and more things that I could pick up with my expanded budget in local shops.

I was interested in the bakugan toy, as it felt niche and something that a fan may pay a premium for online. Unfortunately the numbers didn’t add up when I looked on ebay so it had to be discounted. With the weather improving I thought sunscreen may be a winner, but again the margins were far too fine when I took the heavier postage into account.
I settled on buying the Transformers Autobot Ratchet. Following my first ever purchase I knew that there was good demand for transformers products, so I had confidence that I wouldn’t have a shortage of people wanting to purchase it.
The listing didn’t last long before the item was snapped up for £9.99. At a cost price of £3.99, after ebay fees and postage I came away with my biggest profit, £1.27, and an overall budget now above £5!
Having had a few good sales on the trot I feel like there is some momentum, and the pot is increasing at a nice rate. Hopefully this will continue as I move towards my next big target – £10.
